i love kids. i really think i want to work with them forever & have my own.
i'm talking with the cook that runs trinity's table in charlotte so i can start cooking with him, mostly baking thank god, & volunteering at the bethlehem center. there is something about south tryon community church that is so different. i don't care that everyone is all about religion, reverend charlie has become my new favorite person to talk to, but everyone i meet there has so much love for everything even when they have nothing. i give & receive so many hugs & smiles. though, i feel like i have gotten so much more out of photographing these people than the people volunteering from myers park united methodist. they always seem so repulsed to be there, like they are being forced & never want to touch anything. i've built amazing relationships at south tryon & i am so grateful i took that photo job.

OH MY GOD. I HAVE THE CUTEST LITTLE NIECE EVER
she was six pounds thirteen ounces & she is sooooo cute. i don't get to see her until january which suuucks because they live in chicago but i'm so excited!
& i'm officially obsessed with rock band. i'm also getting leopard for my macbook & i'm in the process of transferring all my stuff to my external so i don't lose anything. it's telling me i have twenty two gb of pictures! is that even possible?! it's taking forty minutes to transfer all my photo files.

i just set up my etsy for the cards & things i make! so go take a look & buy my stuff! there isn't a lot up now but there will be sooon.
i hope everyone had a good thanksgiving. i ate at mike's with his family at three then went to my brothers around six & the thought of eating more stuffing & turkey made me want to barf. i felt really bad but i ate some pie! anyway, i've been cleaning everything because my dad wants to get the house ready to sell. but i'm getting rid of so much & it feels so nice!
oh & my mom & i went to see enchanted on friday & it was sooooooo good & cute & wonderful. it's probably the best disney movie i've seen in a really long time.

 I miss my summer time crew. My front porch more than once a day. Megan always coming over. Grey Road. Summit when there is nothing else to do. Taco Bell. The Boykin Clubhouse. Always having someone's parents away at the perfect time. Cheap beer. Good laughs. Burps beyond belief. Smoking too many cigarettes. Always being covered in beer. Beer pong. Beer runs. Naked people. Hot tubs & pools. "Sleeping at Megan's house." Dinner out almost every night. Working my tale feather off. Taking photographs every single day. Free Starbucks. Reading before I fall asleep. An empty campus. Drives to nowhere. New friends. Old friends. Summer loves. Finding too many dogs. Sparklers all the time. Shotguns. Everyone's porches or backyards or garages. Soccer games. Uno that lasts too long. Wine in party cups. Summit cookies. Breaking things. Erwin Lodge & cell phone flashlights. Peeing outside. Hugs & kisses & everyone being together in one tiny, weeny town called DAVIDSON.

It doesn't seem like it should be the end of the year. This year has flown by; Star Wars style. I don't like the fact that I have lost so many friends, yet I love the fact that I have gained so many new ones. I think the weather is to blame for this icredibly quick approach to the end of the year; it doesn't... hasn't felt like summer at all.

Tomorrow I have Friday Morning Detention, my speech & my French exam... Gah.
